How Did We Get Here? 

Our CEO and Managing Principal, Ivory Banks, started i5 SharePoint Consulting, LLC in July of 2013.  Ivory Banks founded the company on the principle of maximizing her customers' return on investment (ROI) in technology to deliver the most valuable and powerful tools an organization can use.  Ms. Banks has a technical and creative passion to design and customize technology to exceed the expectations of her customers and deliver tools they not only can use but also want to use.  This passion started with her career as a SharePoint developer turned architect.  Ms. Banks saw many organizations, both in the public and private sectors, invest millions in customizable COTS platforms like SharePoint only to have it collect technological dust because of a lack of understanding and technical expertise.

In 2018, Ms. Banks rebranded the company and we are now doing business as i5 Technology Group as we have expanded our service offerings to evolve the company's expertise as rapidly as technology itself evolves.  i5 Technology Group maintains the same principle - to maximize our customers' ROI on their IT platforms.  We have made it our mission to help organizations understand and deliver on the three key components to a successful IT implementation: listening to the user community, training, and governance.

Ms. Banks studied English Language & Literature in her undergraduate years at Southern New Hampshire University, which she completed, Cum Laude, while serving on active duty in the United States Navy.  She also holds a Master of Science in Management Technology: Information Systems & Services from the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC).  While she is constantly committed to making i5 Technology Group the best place to work, advance your career, and be the most valuable IT professional service provider, Ms. Banks also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling the world, spoiling her nieces and nephews and sending them back to their parents, running a few miles in her favorite park, and boxing a few rounds with a heavy bag whenever she can.
